The track became a commercial success, topping charts in several countries. "Womanizer" was produced and co-written by Nikesha Briscoe and Rafael Akinyemi of Atlanta-based production team, The Outsyders. "Womanizer" is Spears's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut "...Baby One More Time", almost 10 years prior.
